So I just finished watching the movie The Polar Express with my 6 year old daughter…believe, believe, believe…is the theme of the movie as you know….if you’ve seen it. For me it serves as a reminder to believe in yourself. That’s the first step in ANYTHING you want for your life. That’s gotta be first..YOU must believe it is possible! BUT….
It’s also true that when you beileve in something or someone or in yourself, and it doesn’t work out as you “believed”…that can suck! But that’s where the shift comes in about believing. I invite you to believe in the greater picture, believe it’s part of a bigger plan, believe there is a reason the road took a turn to the left when you thought it was going to take a turn to the right. This is also where the faith thing comes in as well.I know it’s kind of hard when you have to believe in something before it manifests…in something that is not tangible yet….I know it’s hard because I do this all the time…especially when you want to experience something or create something from you heart, with the best intentions…I believe it’s gotta happen in some way shape or form… maybe not now, maybe not in the way you are planning it out….but it will happen exactly how and when it is supposed to happen. Yeah, yeah, yeah…I’ve heard that before too, but believing, just like the boy on the train learned to, is not just for kids….it’s for adults too. And too often, when we don’t believe, it squashes all of the possibilities that lay before us…before we ever get started! Why do that to ourselves?!?! You gotta believe baby! You just gotta believe! 😉
So what is it that you need to “re-believe” in these days? And what do you need to start believing in? I invite you to share with a comment below!
COOL QUOTE ALERT!
“Why don’t you start believing that no matter what you have or haven’t done, that your best days are still out in front of you!” -Joel Osteen
